Limited space available! Sign up today for Julian Junior Theater’s first Musical Theater class. In this 8 week series students will learn about auditioning for musical theater, about preparing a song and the fundamentals of stage presence. Students will also learn the foundations of singing, performance and movement for musical theater. Participants will learn songs and dances from all time favorite musicals and will prepare for a simple performance at the end of their 8 week class.
WHO: Children ages 8+
WHERE: Julian Town Hall upstairs
WHEN: 8 Week series on Thursdays from 3:00- 4:00 Beginning SEPTEMBER 4TH
Vanessa is a local Julian mom of two girls. She grew up singing and performing in musical theater and studied vocal performance in university. Vanessa has taught music for over 20 years and loves teaching kids about music and performance.
Cara is also a local Julian mom and has three boys. Cara began performing in various youth theaters throughout San Diego at 7 years old. She graduated from the San Diego school of Creative and Performing Arts and went on to get her BA from the UCLA school of Theater Film and Television as well as studying musical theater at NYU.
